Red Engine - Week 9 - Project Asylum

Before I can feel good about doing a finished piece for my project... I have to get better at painting.  How do you get better?  Do studies:

Studies from movie screenshots, photos, etc.  Focusing on creating mood, creepiness, and learning how to paint cold/snowy environments.

Concept: Starting a painting for the exterior of the asylum.  Trying to apply what I learned from the studies:

More character roughs... picked a couple from the last set and explored more designs using those as a base.
